2. TITLE OF THE PROJECT
A REPORT ON ORGANISATIONAL STUDY AT VST TILLER AND
TACTORS LTD AT BIDAR.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
As a part of my MBA curriculum, it is required to undertake an
organization study to gain the knowledge relating to how an
organization functions and understanding key issue in strategy
development such as mission, vision, goal, objective and so on. I got
the opportunityto do “Organization Study” at VST Tillers and Tactors
Ltd Bidar.
VST tillers and tactor is manufacturer of
agriculture multipurpose power tillers and tactors in India.
Organization operates in AUTO TACTOR industry. VST Tillers Tactors
Ltd. Was establishedin the year 1967 by the VST group of companies.
A well-known century old business house in south India.The founder
of the group was Sri.V.S. Thiruvengadaswamy Mudaliar who started
with humble beginning under the VST and Sons banner in the year
1911. The group builds its reputation through retailing of petroleum
product distributionin Karnataka and Tamil Nādu.

The study is based on the organization information of VST Tillers and
Tactors Ltd. Research methodologyrepresents the strategies involves
in collecting and analyzing the data collected, in order to have
meaningful interpretationofthe research.

Essential information for this project work was collected through
primaryand secondarysource the combinationinclude:

4. SCOPE OF THE STUDY
The main objective of organization studies is to provide a complete
understandingofthe behavior,culture, ecology,psychology,theories,
and learning of the organizations. The study gets wide range of
knowledge about the organizational structure, functions of various
department.
LIMITATION OF THE STUDY
• The companyhas limitation to disclose their financial
details so depth analysis ofthe companyis not possible
• The studyis restricted to onlyone unit i.e., VST Tillers and
Tactors,single division
• The informationwhich was needed,could not made
