6. It's a new school year, and Greg Heffley finds himself thrust into middle
school, where undersized weaklings share the hallways with kids who
are taller, meaner, and already shaving. The hazards of growing up
before you're ready are uniquely revealed through words and drawings
as Greg records them in his diary.
In book one of this debut series, Greg is happy to have Rowley, his
sidekick, along for the ride. But when Rowley's star starts to rise, Greg
tries to use his best friend's newfound popularity to his own advantage,
kicking off a chain of events that will test their friendship in hilarious
fashion.
7. When Rowley gets a girlfriend, he ditches Greg. Greg now considers that
finding new friends in middle school is hard, so he considers and thinks
about what is going on around him, and then one day he finds a "magic"
eight ball. He uses it to make all his decisions. He finds his mom's secret
place, in which he finds out his mom's secret weapon: he finds all of
these books of how his mom made him do what she wanted to do. Greg
also joins the yearbook, and makes little funny twists.
Then Abigail suddenly breaks up with Rowley to get the attention of her
last boyfriend, Michael Sampson. Rowley feels really sad, and Greg
decides to get back his friendship, so they go back to being friends.
I think this book is really interesting, and has a really creative story. It
has really good pictures, which I like a lot

garnered positive reviews and commercial success. For example, Diary of a
Wimpy Kid was well-received from The Princeton Review, Gold Card
Association, The Dallas News, The TRR Editors, The NW Press, and The JJ
Printing Company. As of February 2008, it has been purchased one million

with publisher Harry N. Abrams, Inc., to turn Diary of a Wimpy Kid into a print
series.
The book became an instant hit, and the online version received about 20
million views as of 2009; many online readers requested a printed version.

14. I think that this series is one of the best series I have read in my
life .this series can’t let you bore when you are reading it ,it suits
all ages and Jeff Kinney has done a good work in framing it .It is
neither imaginary nor fantasy .It is rather a story which can also be
real .All the books in the series tells the story of a middle school
boy named Greg who is referred as a wimp . The story also tells
the problems faced by a middle school boy that’s why this series is
mainly preferred by middle school graders .
