Title : Design and Fabrication of Remote Controlled Hovercraft.

Description : The hovercraft is an air cushion vehicle which glides on the cushion of air, the vehicle
consists of two propellers one is to lift the craft and the another to provide axial thrust, design is very compact and
light weight and more economical. Objective of the project was to design the 3-D model using CATIA and thereby
procure materials to assemble the hovercraft to model in real.
Accountabilities
– Analysis of existing models and their designs.
– Preparation of the own design with much more compactness and lesser weight than previous designs.
– Selected the best design among the predesigned models. The tool used for designing CATIA.
– To reduce the overall cost we used the easily available materials like surf board, thermocoal and tarpaulin for
the body building.
