2. Work Involved in JSW STEEL LTD:
1. Project Title: Blast Furnace #1
Client: JSW Steel LTD, Bellary
Tool: Catia V5 R19
Description: Design modification of interiors and Detailing of single parts, assemblies
and installations
Responsibilities:
 Design of HVAC systems from the concept to the detailing.
 Concepts prepared for a given volume of system.
 The assemblies and the installations are done using proper fixation methodologies.
 The detailing of single parts to installation level done with model based dimensioning using
CATIA V5.
Work Involved In JSW STEEL LTD:
 Preparing and modifying all kinds of customer submittals (General Arrangement and
Sectional Drawings, pneumatic components and moulds).
 Formulating standard design procedures to facilitate smooth functioning of overall
design activities and ensure timely accomplishment of design targets.
 Analyzing the technical requirements and specifications & recommending
design modifications based on the customer requirements.
 Responsibility of technical discussion and getting the drawing approvals from the
customer.
 Involvement in product development activities to develop new product.
 Provide corrective actions to resolve the problems in design.
 Solving problems and developing solution with an original approach using technical
knowledge.
 Making schedules of work for each project and follow up to ensure timeliness. Guidelines
are followed resulting in timely completion of projects.
