5. WHAT IS ADVERTISEMENT?
Advertisement is a communication with the users of
a product or service. Advertisements are messages
paid for by those who send them and intended to
inform or influence people who receive them, as
defined by the Advertising Association of the UK.
Via television, print media(newspapers, magazines,
journals etc), radio, press, internet, direct selling,
contests, sponsorships, posters, clothes, events etc.
6. THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN VIEWING
AN ADVERTISEMENT
What is the brand name or product?
Who is the target audience?
What are the significant visual images?
What catchy words or slogans are being used?
What advertising techniques are being used?
What is the underlying message in the ad?
What is your personal reaction?
9. WHAT WE SAW AS A CUSTOMER
In Yamaha FZ S FI (V 2.0) advertisement, we see that
they try to give information about their new bike model
and new features which is ECU (Engine Control
Unit). That actually helps to control the engine of
the bike. They took a Well known face to present the
advertisement, and which is the famous Bollywood
actor Mr. John Abraham.

In Honda CB Hornet 160R advertisement, we see that the main concept of this advertisement is ‘Present
their new motorbike model and the motorbike represents to a passionate, handsome and muscular man
as like as their new motorbike model. And it is the same as like as human personality.

Well know face present the advertisement and which is famous actor Mr. John Abraham.

ADVERTISEMENTS
The strength of Yamaha FZ S FI (V 2.0) advertisement is it’s very easy to understand and it
is so attractive than Honda CB Hornet 160R advertisement due to their model selection. The
actor Mr. John Abraham is more familiar and more renowned face than Honda CB Hornet
160R model.

ADVERTISEMENTS
The Honda CB Hornet 160R advertisement has more lacking than Yamaha FZ'S FI (V
2.0) advertisement. The agency should more concern in the product detail and
the model because they are coming with new motorbike model so if they want to attract to
the customer they should have shown their features and what is new in this motorbike.
17. TARGET MARKET
The main concept of advertisement to target or attention to the existing customer or the new customer. In these
two advertisements, we see that both companies not only target to their new customer but also target to their
existing customer. By Honda company advertisement we find out that Honda company target Young and
muscular guy but Yamaha company target to not only young guys and John Abraham's fans following but also
they try to present their new motorbike for every age. Yamaha chooses a big particular customer who is the fan
of John Abraham because John Abraham is a popular Indian actor so it will create a big impact on his fans and
subcontinent country. Honda is a renowned company but because of their audio and video presentation, they will
face a big problem with the market. Yamaha Company present their motorbike with their new product details and
but it's hard to understand the accent of the Honda advertisement. And in this subcontinent, most of the bike
users are the young tiny boy and the fat guy with above 35 ages.
18. WHAT WE LIKE AS CUSTOMER
We like Yamaha FZ'S FI (V 2.0) advertisement because it is attractive to us and it comes with new
features. And the visualization of the advertisement is very easy to understand.
