Importance of an Induction
Program
• Induction sets the scene for the inductee’s new role
• Induction shows the professionalism of the business
• Induction gives the new team member a structure to settle in
• Induction makes sure that the important elements of people and
practices are clearly defined
CONDUCT THE TRAINING
• a) On arrival present the training program and explain the
importance of Induction.
• b) INTRO of the Induction and explain.
• c) Precautions-The Induction should familiarize the employee
with the organization and the department. At no point should the
new employee feel Intimidated or getting excessive information.
• d) Reiteration- After the property round and introductions make
sure that questions are asked so that doubts can be cleared.
