4. In my cover there are many effects on the text and images although in the
preliminary task the fonts are all very simple and plain and the only effect I
have used on this is rotation. I have learnt many new things in photoshop
such as cropping out the background and making the image look more
focused and professional. I have learnt how to edit text and use effects such as
drop shadow and stroke. I learnt how to add shapes effectively and also make
a layer look more defined and easy to read e.g. my strapline stands out
showing you what my artists names are. On my contents I learnt the
conventions and that the text should look clear and easy to read however in
my preliminary task the text is on Roma’s head and this looks unprofessional
as the text isn’t clear and you can’t see the image clearly either. Also my stories
on my final work are a lot more detailed and give a brief summary of what’s in
the magazine.
