2. Question 1 Response
This questions asks if the genre
is displayed within the
storyboard. Furthermore, the
option each respondent can
choose from is Thriller, Horror,
Drama or Documentary. The
genre with the highest amount
of votes was Thriller whilst the
least amount was Documentary
which makes our storyboard
distinctive in the way we want it
to be displayed.
3. Question 2 Response
This question asks the audience what they think the
story is about and the vast majority of them from my
collected research for my survey explain that its linked
in with a murder mystery or a murder case has been
brought up which Is positive in relation our main
story/plotline.
4. Question 3 Response
This question allows the audience
to decide whether the storyboard
is laid out properly or not. The
majority of people said yes,
whilst the minority said no.
Furthermore, I decided to
implement this question because
it would be useful to gather
information and if we are doing
everything in the correct order.
5. Question 4 Response
To begin with, the question stated what improvements
can be made to make the storyboard more engaging.
In addition, the minority of people illustrated that
there doesn’t need to be any improvements. Whilst
others asked for us to include more shot types or
create a darker atmosphere in relation to the story.
6. Question 5 Response
This question asks the audience
how well the storyboard is laid out.
The user gets to rate from 1 – 5 (1
being the worst, whilst 5 is the
best). Overall the weighted average
in terms of ratings was close to a 4.
7. Question 6 Response
Question 6 asks whether our
storyboard makes sense in relation
to our story that we are trying to
portray. In addition, 63.64% of
respondents answered with yes,
whilst 36.36% answered with no.
This allows us to see that we are
going in the right direction.
8. Question 7 Response
For this question I asked whether
our audience wanted more actors
or actresses within our opening
sequence. 90.91% said yes, whilst
9.09% of people said no.
Additionally, this will create a more
intriguing story which will be
reflected as more complex which
our audience should like.
9. Question 8 Response
The question within this part of the survey was asking
the audience whether or not the story makes little
sense or not. The overall opinions were mainly ‘no’
which signifies that our storyboard in relation to our
story is correct from the audiences perspective, this
also ties in with our genre which is clearly illustrated
as well.
10. Question 9 Response
From the depiction of Question 9
on screen it initiates that 63.64% of
people believed that our storyboard
has a wide range of shots, whilst
36.36% of people believed that
there weren’t enough shot types
within the storyboard. To fix this
we will try to incorporate more
creative shots like aerial,
establishing shot, master shot and
more.
11. Question 10 Response
For this response the question
stated whether its clear or not
for the audience to see who the
protagonists are in contrast with
the antagonists. This is set at
18.18% of people said yes, whilst
81.82% of people said no.
Moreover, we can develop this
by highlighting the characters
costumes that we wear which
will be a white shirt for me and
Jamie, whilst Nathaniel will
wear a blacks shirt signifying
power/higher status.
