1. Nominal sentence
Nominal sentence is a sentence that uses a "Tobe" as predicate.
Tobe consists of 5 namely: Present (Am -Is –Are) - Past (Was –Were)
Sentences that use the five To Be above are nominal sentence types
Pattern
Subject + Tobe (Am,is,are,was,were)+ Adjective/noun
example : The boy is diligent very much (is :tobe)
My father was handsome in his teenage (was:tobe)
2. Verbal sentence is a sentence that use a verb as a predicate
Pattern : Subject + Verb + object/compliment
Example : l walk to school every day. (walk :verb)
l get up early in the morning (get up : verb)
