The students learn:
• To cultivate intercultural attitude
• To build empathy
• To behave kindly to their schoolmates (learning
disabilities, immigrants, in general persons with different
thinking and social status)

The project is based on

5. The following steps should be followed:
1. The students will watch the video BE KIND in the
informatics lab or in their home
2. They will read the narrative THE RED SHINING
SHOES in their home, along with a set of questions
that they help them to deepen in the story’s meaning
(flipped classroom)
3. The students will answer certain questions in the
plickers.com application, that refer to the story so
that there is a reassurance that everybody has read
and understands the plot.
6. 4. They discuss in the classroom with brainstorming
procedure the meaning of the story using as guide
the questions given to them
4. In the lesson of gymnastics the students will do the
following experiential activities:
• Consciousness corridor
• Fall and trust
7. Final products of the project
The students are seperated in groups according to their
interests:
1. The literacy group exercises creative writing and
presents the results in bookcreator
2. The visual group takes photos that show acts of kindness
and presents the results in a padlet
3. The tactile group experiences an hour without feet, or
hands, or eyes, or voice and writes down how they feel
and how others treat them, in prezi prezentation
4. The artistic group makes a poster that asks people to be
kind
