year-old girl called
Katniss Everdeen
volunteered to
participate at her
sister’s place. And
this is how the
story begins .

3. CATCHING
FIRE
Katniss Everdeen and
Peeta Mellark both
survived the Hunger
Games. Then they
returned to their
families hopping for a
better future and a
peaceful life, although
they had to pretend to
be in love. But the
Capitol was angry and
wanted revenge. They
made them take part at
the 75th hunger games .
Everything
turned out to be
just fine because
Katniss managed
to ruin the hole
game . But this
story couldn’t
end right there
because
president Snow
kidnapped Peeta
and some other
participants.
That’s how
Catching Fire
ended ….with
Katniss worrying
for them.

4. MOCKINGJAY
Katniss takes stock of her new position as a
rebel in District 13. Only three victors were
saved from the arena.
Katniss is still haunted by Snow and fears for
Peeta's life. The book starts in District 12,
which has been reduced to ashes. Katniss
alone wanted to see the district herself. This is
about a month after the arena was blown up.
The Capitol then breaks into chaos, the
camera tilts to the floor, screams can be heard
and blood splatters can be seen, leading us to
believe Peeta is being tortured.

while she’s fighting
at the Games .
Finnick is a
tribute from
district 4 who
at the age of 14
was the
youngest to
win the 65th
Games. He
tries to make
friends with
everyone as he
is very popular.

8. Haymitch is a
middle aged
man who was
the victor of the
50th Hunger
Games . He is
now a mentor
who helps
Katniss and
Peeta and gives
them surviving
tips .
Effie is a mentor
too and organizes
everything while
the participants
live in the capitol
to prepare
themselves . She
also tries to get
sponsors’ help
for Katniss and
Peeta.

9. President Snow
is the leader of
the Capitol . He
acts very bad
around many
people ,
especially at
several Hunger
Games
tributes.
