1. With the main goal of our initiative in mind, we have
regrouped in Turkey and determined to influence the
attitudes of younger generations of girls and boys,
as well as mature women and men. By avoiding the
transmission of gender stereotypes about duties and
interests based on the gender social order, the
school can assist girls and boys in achieving their
true and full potential by empowering their personal
freedom of choice, expanding the range of role
models available to them, and promoting their
ability to be critical thinkers rather than consumers.

CULTURAL ACTIVITIES
Representatives (teachers and students
from 5 countries) took part in a special
meeting with 2 experts, who underlined
once again the importance of the project’s
main topic – that of the equality between
boys and girls.
The students participate din a seminar by an
expert in which the topics were: increasing
awarness of gender equality, increasing women's
participation in decision-making processes,
ending violance against women and children, and
also gender and equality of opportunity in
education.
What we remained with after this seminar is that
gender equality can only be achieved when
women, men, girls and boys have equal rights,
conditions and opportunities, and the power to
shape their own lives and contribute to the
development of society. It is a matter of equitable
distribution of power, influence and resources in
society.

4. WHAT'S NEXT?
Unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) and
everything that is happening around the world, we don't
know what the future holds in store for our project. We are
extremely grateful that we were able to reconnect! We can
only hope that we will be able to meet again and have a
great time in Greece as well.
