SHORT-TERM EXCHANGE
OF GROUPS OF PUPILS -
CARINI/ITALY
The Short-term Exchange of Groups of Pupils in
Italy of the Erasmus project “We all stand
together” has taken place from the 25th of
February till the 1st of March, 2019 in the
“Istituto Ugo Mursia” Carini. During the mobility
14 students and 12 teachers from Greece,
Portugal, Norway, Poland and Turkey took part
in the activities. The students coming from the
partner countries were hosted by the Italian
students’ families in Carini and in the nearby
towns of Torretta and Cinisi.
The host school has directly involved 14 students
and 8 teachers from different subjects, in
addition 200 students from different classes of
the lyceum and the vocational courses were
involved indirectly in the event as well as more
than 40 teachers took an active role in the
preparation of the project activities, that have
been developed during the week.

2. Teaching/Learning Activities (workshops)
Ice Breaking Activities: Introducing the participants, discovering
partner countries’ traditional dances, traditions and food
Under the guidance of colleagues experts in the use of the ICT
, the students from all the countries created two TV-Shots
concerning Inclusion, working together in international groups
Students’ Presentation of the monuments of Carini and Palermo
to be visited during the week
Cultural workshop: sharing traditional recipes of each country
Workshops for teachers (leaded by the Project
Coordinator and Local Coordinator)
Presentation and discussion of the lesson plans about inclusion,
prepared by each delegation on Learning Designer.
Presentation and analysis of the results of the questionnaire by
the project Coordinator with a debate and reflections on the
results
Preparing the guidelines for a training activity for adults, to be
registered on the Epale platform
Presentation by all the delegations of the documentary-Video.
Introducing and interviewing of a disadvantaged person or a
person belonging to a disadvantaged minority group
Cultural Activities
Reception at the City Hall and discussion about
the importance of the Erasmus Projects as a
means to enhance the European Citizenship,
human rights and inclusion
Cultural visit to the Castle of Carini, the Mother
Church, the Oratory of the S.S Sacramento with
the stuccos of the 17th century sculptor Serpotta
Visit to Palermo discovering its artistic Heritage:
The Cathedral, Piazza Pretoria, the Theatre
Massimo and the market “Il Capo”
Visit to the Ethnographic, archeological and
naturalistic Regional Museum “Palazzo D’Aumale”
in Terrasini
Sharing of Practices
Visit to the “La casa del Fanciullo” an institution that provides
assistance to disabled children with the presentation of the
services given to the local populations by the responsible of the
institution
Dissemination Activities
Publication of a video on the facebook page of the school
Live Sessions on Facebook
Presentation of the project in the local newspaper “Il
Carinese” and in the local TV channel
Meeting with the Major of Carini and discussion on inclusion
and integration in the municipal hall
The partners have agreed on the following:
Shared Folder: The material produced will be
uploaded by the partners into the shared folder
on the common account. The Portuguese partner
has shared the link.
EPALE:

eTwinning: Improve students’ interaction, by creating a forum for
them to share the exchange experience (Portuguese partner)
TV-shot:
According to the application form, each partner would
create one tv-shot to compile in one single document.
During the meeting in Norway, the partners realized that
the final document would be too long for the purposes
of the activity.
So, the partnership came to the decision that the tv-shot
could be prepared by the participant students before
the exchange and then, during the meeting in Italy, it
would be recorded.
During the exchange in Italy, the participant students
with the guidance of the Italian teachers recorded 2
different tv-shots about inclusion. The videos were
presented on the last day of the meeting. The partners
agreed to the general idea but they decided to do some
improvements so as to include more students and the
mascots of the project and to come closer to the
general idea of the project. They all agreed to record
some more seconds of separate videos from their
countries and compiled them to a part from the video
recorded in Italy in order to achieve the best result.
The Italian team will be responsible to receive all the
videos and compile them.
Lesson Plans: The Norwegian team will be responsible of the Lessons
Plans, collecting the Units of Leaning designer presented by all the
delegations
SPSS:
The Greek team has already finished the quantitative
analyses, that had been presented during the workshop
Professor Sevaste Xatzifotiou will keep on working on the
qualitative analyses
Documentary:
time more flexible (maximum 7’)
No background music
No individual titles or credits
The Polish partner will compile everything in one
single document, and she will add the logo in the
beginning, the titles and credits
The coordinator will send to all the information we
need to share with the Polish partner, concerning
the country's introduction and the credits.
- Name of the Country
- Name of the interviewed person
- Area that he became a role model
The coordinator will create the introduction video
and send it to the Polish partner.
Recipes Book: Each partner will upload the
recipes to the folder and the Turkish team will
collect the recipes as a unique e-book
Newsletter: All the partners will send to the
Turkish partner information and materials for
the newsletter
Dissemination: According to application
form, each country is responsible to
disseminate project results. It is very
important to keep pdf's, web links and any
other way we have used to disseminate the
results. All the material will be uploaded in
the schools’ websites as part of the
dissemination plan
Erasmus Corners: All partners have
updated the Erasmus corner at their schools.
They have to take photos and upload them in
the common folder.
Volunteer Days: Each partner will upload
the newsletters of the two (2) volunteer days
to the shared folder (then to website and
eTwinning)
Inclusion Dictionnaire: The Norwegian team
has finished the dictionnaire by adding
photos/ images/ draws. The coordinator will
upload it to website and the Portuguese
partner to eTwinning.
TPM in Turkey: The partners agreed on the
date of the final Meeting TPM in Turkey in
Samsun from the 7th – to 9th May (travel
dates on the 6th and 10th)
Evaluation of the Italian meeting: All the
participants will submit the online evaluation
created on google forms.
