2. EQUALITY IN ACTION
We have gathered once more with the same purpose in Xanthi,
Greece, leaving our mundane lives behind and working towards a
reality that is far from wishful thinking, a world that might soon be
ours, where all genders are empowered to have an open mind
and work together towards an equitable future. We met with the
goal of identifying the issues that lead to gender inequality, and
throughout the course of our seven days together, we were able
to avoid gender stereotypes and dig deeper into what genuinely
distinguishes today's progressive thinkers. Students were
continually shown through historical innovations and current
groundbreakers that they are the future and that they, too, can
live to their best potential.

Ancient theater, Lunch by the sea,
Visit to traditional village on the
mountain.
4. DAY 1
On the first day the students did
Cross-gender workshops and they
got to know the school by avoiding
stereotypes and widening student’s
future professional choices .
This activity was followed by a guided
tour to Xanthi's Old Town.

articles about advancing gender
equality - intercultural dialogue
among young European citizens

outdoor activities like hiking by river
Nestos and many other sports in
nature

Equality in Work Places : in the third day
the teachers and the students visited
Genisea’s Women's Association that
deals with the cultivation and
processing of sugar cane
In the next activity, together we were
part in Equality in Religion by visiting
the monastery of Agios Nikolaos, in the
middle of a lagoon ., and Equality in
History by visiting : "Land of
Democritus" , Avdira Museum and ruins
of ancient Avdira

Cultural - Environmental
Visit: "A typical Greek
Weekend" - One-day
Guided Excursion to
Thassos island. Visit to

Ancient theater, Lunch by
the sea, Visit to traditional

8. DAY 5 On the last day , were included activities such as Graffiti
and Certificates' Ceremony for students and teachers
