1. Preliminary –Year 13 Talk
- Keep organised so that you don’t get overwhelmed.
- Practise editing so that it doesn’t take you too long because you’re still trying to
work out how to use it.
- Choose a good location that fits the mood and the song in general.
- Wear the same thing if you’re shooting on different days unless there is a reason for
it to look different
- Film more than enough footage so that you have a lot to choose from.
- Always do working during your lessons, free periods and study periods so that you
make the most of your time and don’t fall behind.
- Make sure that you complete your work by the mini deadlines so that you don’t get
overwhelmed.
- Plan you’re shots, don’t film things that really aren’t necessary.
- Show your footage to people so that you get a wide variety of opinions.
- Accept any criticism given as it may help in the long run.
- Make sure that the edits fit the track otherwise it may risk looking messy and
unorganised.
