1. Year 13 Talk
• Be Organised- Check equipment.
(Eg: Full change and lots of storage)
• Make sure you post blog as soon as possible to keep up to
date with myself.
• Practice editing before final post, allowing myself not to
waste time with learning rather than experimenting.
• Chose location which is relevant, easily accessible and
everyone comfortable to film in.
• Film during the day.
(No night/ evening shots meaning everything is visible and
can add effects on without being restricted with footage)
• Make sure there is no random background additions.
(Eg: By passers/animals)
• Storyboard/ be realistic when planning the shots and
detailed shots to make filming quick and understandable.
Also making editing easier as you would have a plan on
where everything would go.
• Take lots of shots and extend some for extra footage if
needed.
(There would be no blank screen throughout the video and
the video would flow)
• Accept criticism.
(Take criticism so improvements are easier to make and
everything would flow to make an understandable video)
• Make sure editing is to the beat of the song.
(Allows the video to flow better and is more pleasing for the
consumer to watch)
• Use study periods to my advantage to not waste time.
(Allow myself more time to do extra improvements)
• Plan footage before going out to film.
(Make sure you don’t spend/ waste more time than I need
to)
