The task is about self esteem and bullying. a lot of learners are being bullied and that becomes a barrier to these learners as they tend to have a low self esteem. therefore this task will help us and the learners to know ho to have a good self esteem and how to conquer bullying and how to become resilient after a traumatic experience of being bullied.

2. What is self-esteem?
‘Esteem’ means respect and admiration,
usually for a person.
Self-esteem means to think well of
ourselves – to feel proud and confident
about who we are and what we can do.
3. What’s your self
esteem like?
You have 3 minutes to label a stick
person with the things you LIKE
about yourself and the things you
would improve. Think of:
Personality
Appearance
Abilities…
4. Confidence Booster!
Everyone needs praise sometimes, it helps their self-
esteem
You will each be given a post-it-note with the name
of someone in your class in it
Write down a compliment (ONLY a compliment!)
about them and stick it to my whiteboard

8. What is Bullying?
Bullying is when a person intentionally tries to
harm, hurt or intimidate someone. It usually
takes place over a period of time, with repeated
‘attacks’.
Bullying severely damages self-esteem. It can
make life unbearable for victims and have long
lasting effects.
