2. Sticking to my theme of black, blue and white I chose to have a blue border around the interview, this is not a very typical feature for hip hop magazines, due to the black box there is a fair divide in the page. The black box will have the heading of the article which is a typical convention in a magazine.
3. I decided to have two different images of the artist as it will attract more readers. Placing one on each end, having an image with the main article is a typical convention.
4. The article is divided equally between the page, as every hip hop magazine would have, the start of the article starts of with a capital r taking up at least two lines of the paragraph which is a very typical convention in a music magazine. The colour scheme clearly indicates who is talking another typical feature of a music magazine. A feature which is not very typical would be the quick fire round, not many music magazine would have such a convention.
5. For my final draft of the double page spread I included a pull quote which is a typical feature in a music magazine, the quote Is with the main heading which allows the readers to get engaged into the article straight away. I also added page numbers which will relate to the contest page, as well as adding a web address at the bottom of the page, in which many cases is usual as music magazine tend to have the web address at the bottom of the page.
