  • 2. Time management refers to how well you use your time. College students often juggle many responsibilities including homework, job responsibilities, and family responsibilities. Commuting time also must be factored into a daily schedule. In addition, it is always nice to schedule in some free time as well to relax and unwind.       • Make daily lists of the most important things that need to be accomplished
      • Keep a calendar of important dates
      • Keep track of how much time you spend on activities that eat away at time you could use doing more productive activities (watching TV, playing video games etc.)
      • Don’t procrastinate! Procrastination means needlessly postponing tasks until some future time. Putting things off for too long will only hurt you in the end.
