- Vanier College and Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board have initiated a collaboration project to build bridges between vocational training (DEP) and college technical programs (DEC) to help students progress in their education without duplicating course content.
- Over 300 students have transferred from vocational training at the school board to the Computer Science Technology program at CEGEP Rosemont through the DEP-DEC pathway.
- The collaboration plan between Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board and Vanier College submitted to the Ministry of Education aims to create conditions for admission and identify equivalent courses to streamline students' transition from vocational studies to a college technical degree.
