Description
 Pupils do research on what information they are
required to provide if they want to have access to
various services on the Internet.
 Discuss what this information reveals about a person
 Possible dangers
 Pupils create a leaflet to raise and sharpen awareness
of the misuse of data among pupils and their parents.
 And a blog where all parents have access would be
great - good idea to invite parents.
Goals
 Teaching online behaviors that will protect the pupil’s
physical/psychological well-being
 Being critical to sources
 Improving the language ( English) and ICT skills
ICT tools/skills:
 eTwinning platform
 Google docs
 Blog
 Different search engines
 Picasa
Pedagogical basis:
 Inductive, working from gathering information,
experimenting and working out rules.
Time / period
1. Getting to know each other (two weeks)
2. Research on the Internet (one week)
3. Discussion: Skype/videoconference
4. Joint product(s) - a “leaflet” (two weeks)
5. Compare and evaluate leaflets (one week)
6. Improve leaflets
7. Teacher assessment with grade
