2. Dear children, I am sick . More and more dangers threaten me . My precious belongings are uselessly wasted. More and more animals are in danger of disappearing forever. My plants dry and die. People become ill with strange new diseases or starve to death. The layer of ozone, which protects me from the hot sun-rays, is getting thinner and thinner… A lot of garbage suffocates me… Help me, please !

3. This is the Earth desperate cry ! We must understand that our Earth is dying and we are dying together with it, too ! “ We borrow the Earth for our children and we do not have the right to disinherit them !” J. Y . Co u steau Not the inferno but LIFE itself is what we should let them inherit !

4. Do not pollute the water ! WATER = LIFE Water is the primordial element of life !

5. Forests are home to many plants, insects and animals ! FORESTS = O XYGEN = LIFE Love and protect forests !

6. Stop cutting down trees ! Do not destroy our environment ! We want to live as much as you do ! We do not want nests made of axes’ handles !

7. Do not turn the Earth into a huge dumping hole ! Do not forget that the Earth is our home ! A clean world begins with you !

8. Rec ycle ! Re use ! Reduce ! We need to collect waste separately in order to have a healthy planet !

9. global warming ! recycle re use means To recycle and to reuse means to respect the planet you live on .

10. We have to change our life style in order to save nature. Here are some simple things you could do !

11. 1. Plant a tree and take care of it !

12. 2. Cycle instead of driving ! Riding your bike is healthy for you and the planet !

13. 3 . Save water : turn off the tap while brushing your teeth !

14. 4. Switch off the TV when you leave the room even for a few minutes !

15. 5. Do not throw sweets packages in the street ! Keep them in your packet until you find a dustbin !

16. 6. Recycle paper , plastic , glass and other waste !

17. 7. Send e-cards to your friends instead of paper ones !

18. 8. Use rechargeable batteries !
