This document contains an induction assessment for a student. It asks the student to rate their skills and experience with various software programs and areas of moving image on a scale of 1 to 10. It then provides two assignments for the student to complete: 1) A 500-word written analysis making reference to mise en scene and camera techniques using proper terminology, and 2) Preparing flat plans for a magazine in Photoshop, including a front page using a downloaded font, and embedding the completed document on a blog.
