Pregnancy Advisor’s answers:
Lhc and hcg are like twins except that one has a hat!! Anyway if you are pregnant your ovulation
kits will turn out positive, so I’d say you might be pregnant go to this website and learn about it
you will really enjoy this information www.peeonastick.com.

2. Helen asks…
I’m doing the ovulation kit, and after my LH surge now the control
line is really light?
So I have the ovulation kit that comes with 20 strips. I peed in the cup and got the LH surge
like normal, but its lasted about 5 days now. Only thing is the control line from the begginning
was dark, once I got my LH surge for the first 2 days, the control line is barely showing up now.
But the test line is still coming in darker. Has this happened to anyone? Does this mean I’m
pregnant?
Pregnancy Advisor’s answers:
Most women are aware that they are pregnant from the signs and signals their body gives them
long before they test positive for pregnancy. During the initial onset of pregnancy you may feel
some bloating, cramping, heartburn, or nausea, you will experience more frequent urination,
and you may notice increased white creamy discharge. You may experience food cravings,
mood swings, headaches, dizziness or a slight fever as your temperature elevates. You may
notice changes to your breasts or nipples. 6 to 12 days after intimacy occurs you may notice
some light pink or brown spotting or you may experience a short or light period as implantation
occurs. You may on an emotional or intuitive level feel something is different.
Nausea is a true sign of pregnancy and cannot be confused with an expected period. The
moment you feel nausea coming on reach for a protein snack and a glass of water, if you feel
better right away and you have experienced other signs of pregnancy then you are most likely
pregnant. Wait for at least 14 days or longer after a missed period to home pregnancy test in
order to confirm what you already know. Disregard too early home pregnancy test results. Begin
to take a high quality prenatal vitamin and mineral, usually found at a health food store, to help
create a healthy pregnancy and prevent miscarriage. A protein snack and a glass of water in the
evening before bed will help you to prevent morning nausea…. More on site below. G

3. Mandy asks…
Dose opk show positive after ovulation or dose lh surge usually
deminish too quickly to detect after O?
Pregnancy Advisor’s answers:
OPK’s should not still show up positive after ovulation, and they will not show up positive just
because you are pregnant either unless you are further along in your pregnancy!

4. Can there still be an LH surge (positive OPK) after ovulation has
taken place? ?
Sorry, had to re-word an older question I had.
Pregnancy Advisor’s answers:
Yes I had this myself. I looked into why this would happen and it is because you may be
pregnant. The lh surge and pregnancy hormones are almost identical and the opk picks them
both up but a pregnancy test can only detect hcg at higher doses. If your opk’s continue to
remain positive up until your period is due well your chances of pregnancy are good.
Good Luck on getting that BFP
Ruth asks…
Does ovulation occur immediately after the LH surge or how long
after?

5. Pregnancy Advisor’s answers:
The ovulation is followed by the luteal phase during which the remaining parts of the Graafian
follicle transform as the corpus luteum.
Sandra asks…
does your lh surge go away completely after ovulation until the
next time?
if it does go away after 4 days could you be pregnant or is it normal
Pregnancy Advisor’s answers:
Your lh surge can last a couple of days but only happens once a month however if you are
having a lh surge for say 7 days are more that is a sign you are pregnant!!
Good Luck
