Education ( 1938).
History knows Nikolai Panin not only as a talented athlete , but also as an
outstanding coach and teacher. Among his students are champions of Russia and
the USSR : C. Ollo , K. Caesar , P. Chernyshev , P. Orlov, Alekseev , spouses
Gendelsman .
Panin died in 1956 in Leningrad, and is buried in the cemetery of St. Seraphim .
6. Memory
From 1957 to 1987, in Leningrad tournament held annually "Memorial N.
Panin ." As the first prize was given to a large porcelain vase ( about a
meter high ) which were engraved the names of all the winners of this
competition. In 2007 , the Federation of figure skating in St. Petersburg
revived the tournament . In 2008, the tournament became international .
In 2008 , in connection with the 100th anniversary of the conquest of the
first Olympic medal for the Russian figure skater Panin Nicholas
Alexandrovich , Russian Figure Skating Federation has established a
medal . The medal is awarded by the decision of the Executive
Committee of the Federation to athletes, coaches , judges and activists
for his long and outstanding contribution to the improvement of the sports
authority of the Russian figure skating.
December 3, 2008 in the main hall of the Academy of Sports Complex
Ice Skating in St. Petersburg was opened bust Nikolai Panin . President
of the Federation of figure skating in St. Petersburg Oleg Nilov also said
that soon the name of Nicholas II will be assigned to the Academy itself .
February 15, 2009 the name of Nicholas II for his outstanding
achievements have been made in the Hall of Fame World figure skating

for storage in a museum in St. Petersburg .
