3. PLANT TREES
Planting trees in your garden and in your community. These absorb carbon
dioxide emissions, reducing the effects of global warming.
4. Do not contaminate water
Point sources discharge pollutants at specific locations through pipes and
sewers. Eg factories, treatment plants, sewage, mines, oil wells, etc.
5. DO NOT CONTAMINATE SOIL
usually the soil is contaminated in various ways: when underground storage
tanks break, when pesticides are applied, sewage leaks and cesspools, or by
direct accumulation of industrial or radioactive products.
6. DO NOT POLLUTE THE AIR
Air pollution is a mixture of solid particles and gases in the air. Emissions from
cars,chemicals from factories, dust, pollen and mold spores may
be suspended as particles
7. DO NOT LITTER
