2. This screen is
where the
preview of the
footage you’ve
put together goes.
The bottom line is where the soundtrack of the film goes as you
can see it runs along from the start to the finish of the project.
The song itself was only 1minuet 20 so when it came to
applying it to my work I chopped up the track. Putting the bits
of the song I felt went best with the scene happening with it
but still had to make sure that the song flowed and didn’t
sound disjointed.
This is a transition, specifically fade to black. I have
used a fair few of these through out the film to make
the transition from a title to footage smoother,
before I added them in the footage would either
jump or lag over.
Currently the toolbar is on ‘Titles’ but as you can see there are other
options. In this section of imovie you are able to find you media
footage; any audio files you’ve imported, titles, backgrounds and
transitions. These are the technical features that you need when
creating your film and without them the film most likely wouldn’t run
as smoothly as it has with them.
