electrophilic Iodide atom to the aromatic ring in the final product. The mixture was orange/red,

reaction started, and a precipitate formed, indicating that the Iodine attached to the Salicylamide, and
the reaction was complete.

Our research rests upon two pillars. The first one is related to how we conceptualize the privacy
concept and the other is the model proposed by Miltgen and Reyrat–Guillard (2014). In our research,
we focus on information privacy, which can be categorized as a sub–construct of the general privacy
construct (Smith et. al., 2011). More specifically, we define information privacy as factual privacy,
which deals with "issues about the access, collection, dissemination and use of personal factual
information" within the context of online social network sites (Zhang et. al., 2011). Our second
pillar is the Miltgen and Peyrat–Guillard model (Miltgen and Peyrat–Guillard, 2014). This model is
developed based on a qualitative research, which uses 14 focus groups from 7 EU countries. The
authors study how citizens in E.U. countries decide to disclose and protect their personal information.
The key conclusion of this study is that an E.U. citizen's national culture and age influence both the
information privacy concerns and behaviors such as disclosure and protection strategies. The authors
note that younger individuals have a more positive attitude towards data management, feel more

In 1994, Gloucestershire, England was assailed by the infamous and unstoppable "flesh–eating
bacteria" or Necrotizing Fasciitis, which virtually devoured its victims to death (2). In March of
1996, 2.6 million cows were slaughtered in the United Kingdom in an effort to rid themselves of
the invasion of the Mad Cow disease. Another term for Mad Cow disease is Bovine Spongiform
Encephalopathy (BSE), which is a disease observed solely in cattle. Mad Cow disease or BSE is
transmitted to humans via the consumption of infected beef resulting in a fatal human brain disorder
known as Creutzfeldt–Jacob (CJD). As a result of this "British beef scare" 32 people died of CJD, of
whose deaths were linked to Mad Cow disease (10.e). Similarly, 1 million chickens were gassed to
death in Hong Kong in 1997 in order to prevent the already undertaking spread of Influenza A
(H5N1) or "Bird Flu". The worst Influenza A epidemic occurred in the United States killing 20
million people in 1918 (10.b). In New York last month, five people died of a rare encephalitis
disease caused by a West Nile–like virus, which is believed to have been transmitted from birds,
who researchers found to have died from the West Nile virus (8). Finally, and probably the most
menacing disease ever in human history would have to be HIV and AIDS, which is still infecting
the human population worldwide in gross amounts.

True, Jesus' (As) birth is a belief amongst Muslims, but so is the sacrificial symbol of the Adha a
belief amongst the Christians and other religions in the world. Why can't all cultures adopt the
Islamic tradition of gifting children with new clothes and taking them out to restaurants and
amusement parks? The government does not encourage Eid as much as it allows public places to be
enveloped in Christmas decorations. In France, the Arab communities hold visitations and share in
Islamic customs within their brotherhood, whilst around them Christmas carols are sung and the
city is embellished in tinsel and goblins, awaiting the arrival of "Santa Claus", or in their terms
"Pere Noel." In Dubai, much like Abu Dhabi, hotels and restaurants have special Christmas
luncheons. Shops and Malls give away special offers during the 'Festive Season'. There is yet to be
established an Eid theme blanketing the cities where Islam is the religion of base, like that of
Christmas. What is even more upsetting is that Christmas is in itself less religious and more
commercial than it was 500 years ago. Christmas has a face, a figure one can imagine when
thinking of the Holiday: a jolly man, with a red suit and a white beard. He did not always look
like this. "Santa Claus" acquired his red suit and the big belly through a Coca Cola advertisement
in 1931. His image changed, distorted almost, into what we know now as "Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry
Christmas!"
