- 2. People recognize patterns by necessity, and three is the smallest number of elements required to create a pattern. This combination of pattern and brevity results in memorable content, and thatâs why the Rule of Three will make you a more engaging and convincing writer.
- 3. To write a persuasive opinion piece begin with your opinion and then apply the rule of 3. Plan, plan, plan! Have THREE reasons to support your opinion. When writing, begin with a clear statement of topic and opinion. Follow it up with a path that states your THREE arguments. Put each reason in its own paragraph creating THREE paragraphs.
