It relates to the distribution and patterns of physical and human features that exist on the Earth’s surface.  Physical features or phenomena such as rivers, roads, forests, earthquakes, volcanoes, erosion, floo ds, vegetation etc.  Human features or phenomena such as population, migration, electoral territories, poverty, religion, health etc.
