Time-Critical Technologies at Time-Critical Technologies You evidently have not given presentations to audiences who can read English fairly well but cannot understand spoken English much. If you had to avoid text, you would have to speak VERY VERY slowly. Presentation designs have to take various factors into account, and it is not unusual for the usual advice (such as on this web site) to be inappropriate. A presentation designed to explain a proof of a complex mathematical theorem to Math Ph.D.'s would be a disaster if it looked like slides presented to salespeople. 5 days ago

Michael Chambers at Westsyde Secondary School There is nothing worse than a presenter who literally reads the information right off the screen. I'm a teacher, and ask my students to do oral presentations, which they abhor, but I make them do them anyways. They lose marks for reading text right off the screen! 5 days ago
