Task: Create a practice movie….make up a silly story or
create it all about you!
•acquire 5 images that will fit your movie topic –
download them for free off the internet or take your own
pictures
•Explore some free sound file or background music
websites – download one file that will fit your practice
movie

Audio – use Audacity
•record an audio file in Audacity that narrates your
story/topic and relates to the images that you plan to use
•import your sound/music file into Audacity into a second
audio track
•“mix” your audio track levels such that your narration can
be distinctly heard above the music/sound file
•Export your mixed audio file as an .mp3 file

Compile and Tweak
•open Windows Live Movie Maker and insert your images
•Create your title slide and closing credit slide
•Import your audio .mp3 file
•Tweak the duration for your images so that they move at a
reasonable pace and that they synch up with the images you
have chosen to use
•Add any transitions or effects that help to enhance your
production
