videos

Genre
• The genre I have chosen is video games. More specifically the
social impact caused to video game players
• A gamer is a person who plays video games or participates in role-
playing games.
• I decided to pick this as it is something I feel very strongly about,
It was a topic which was consistently picked up on in the news.
Duration
• The duration of my YouTube videos will be roughly 2 to 3 minutes.
• There is no need to set up resources, however I will need to
create original images and use copyright free images, which is
time consuming
• As I am creating an informative motion graphic based video, it is
going to take a vast amount of time to edit.
Archive Material
• In order to ensure that my documentary presents itself as formal
and legitimate, I will use material from the internet.
• I will make sure that the material used is relevant to topic or
subject.
• I will edit it into my tv advert when needed.
• I will limit the amount of footage I use from online, as I want my
tv advert to be original.
Content, Narrative, Location(s)
• I will be filming students aged 16 and 17 and ask them of their
views on the matter.
• Additionally I will record some extra footage of the street and
speed up the footage.
• I am going to question people on their views on the matter and ask
how we can take a step forward to ensure we do get the right to
vote. This will help to build on why we should be allowed to vote
• I will film in various locations. I will do my best in trying to record
in quiet areas. I will try and get people to come to the TV studio
and interview them there.
Equipment
• For my TV advert I will need various types of equipment such as:
• A camera
• A tripod
• A microphone
• And possibly a green screen – This will be used to edit in
backgrounds or sceneries.
Production Team
• As I am working by myself, I will have to record and research on
my own.
• I may ask others for feedback for help.
Price/budget
• There will be no budget, as everything that will be used will be for
free.
• I may spend a couple of pounds on props, however I could easilt
request for one from the college.
