    • 2. Accessing your Bookmarks
      • What do you do when you want to find a bookmark, but you’re not at your usual PC?
      • What if you work on different machines (work & home)?
      • Wouldn’t you like to be able to access bookmarks from any location?
    • 3. What is Delicious?
      • … is a social bookmarking service that allows users to tag, save, manage and share web pages from a centralized source.
      • … manage and access website bookmarks from multiple locations, multiple machines.
    • 4. Favourites & bookmarks
      • ‘ Favourite’ bookmarks available on one PC only.
      • Very difficult to take with you from home-to-work.
      • They are not easily shared.
      • Use Delicious to access anywhere & anytime, and to share.
    • 5. How Can I Use Delicious
      • Add websites to Delicious as you would add to ‘favourites’ in Internet Explorer.
      • Access Delicious bookmarks from any location.
      • Use tags to categorise your bookmarks.
    • 6. Example Bookmark
      • Bookmark tagged as containing information on or about ‘design’, ‘eBook’, ‘education’, ‘eLearning’, and ‘research’.
      • 50 other Delicious users have also bookmarked this page.
      Link Name Link URL Tags: what is this link / page about? Number of times this URL has been bookmarked in Delicious
    • 7. Delicious sidebar
      • Add new bookmark
      • Update profile
      • Update tags
      • Quickly browse bookmarks by tag
    • 8. Delicious Networks
      • Link with colleagues in Delicious: share links between you.
      • Share your Network Badge on Social Network websites and/or Blog
    • 9. Web Browser ‘plug-in’
      • Internet browsers:
        • Internet Explorer
        • Firefox / Mozilla
        • Google Chrome
        • Safari
        • Opera
      • ‘ Add bookmark’ options.
      • Select from popular tags as well as ones you’ve used previously.
    • 10. Import into Delicious
      • Import existing bookmarks / favourites from Internet browser(s) into Delicious (from multiple machines: only needs to be done once per machine).
      • Export and back-up from Delicious.
    • 11. Reduce email ‘clutter’
      • Stop sending emails of useful links you find.
      • Start bookmarking and using Delicious to ‘network’.
      • Encourage colleagues to use Delicious, and join your Network.
      • Encourage colleagues to share their links with you.
