Markets traded in positive teritorry for the whole day with Nifty easily surpassing 5900 milestone. Reality and Metal
sectors were the top gainers among sectoral indices. India's services PMI drops to 52.1 in November from October’s
53.8, registering a 13-month low. (News) . After trimming early gains, markets closed in green with Nifty managing a
close above 5900 level.
BEML jumped 5.34% on BSE on bagging order worth over Rs 500 crore. (News)
MRF scaled to a new 52 week high today at RS. 11829 and closed 4.10% on BSE due to fall in rubber prices. CEAT
and Apollo Tyres also rallied more than 2% before close. Sun TV also touched a fresh 52 week high at RS 422.40 and
closed 1.26% up on BSE after foreign research firm UBS increased its target price to Rs 480.
Tata Power dipped 3.67% on BSE on inconclusive hearing at CERC yesterday. Infosys slipped 1.93% on BSE as the
stock will be excluded from Nasdaq 100 with effect from 12-Dec to make a way for Facebook's inclusion.
The market breadth on the BSE closed in positive. Advancing and declining stocks were 1693 and 1228 respectively,
while 109 scrips remained unmoved.
The BSE Sensex ended at 19391.86, up 43.74 points or 0.23%. The 30 share index touched a high and a low of
19463.25 and 19371.01 respectively. 15 stocks advanced against 15 declining ones on the benchmark index.
The S&P CNX Nifty gained 11.25 points or 0.19% to settle at 5900.50. The index touched high and low of 5917.80
and 5891.35 respectively. 30 stocks advanced against 20 declining ones on the index.

The BSE Mid-cap index moved up to 7024.71 and gained 0.46% while Small-cap index jumped up by 0.52% to
7419.82.
The broader BSE 500 index increased to 7533.65 (up 0.26%) and S&P CNX 500 index rose to 4712.10 (up 0.23%).
The volatility as denoted by INDIA VIX gained 4.46% at 16.62 from its previous close of 15.91 on Tuesday.

On the BSE Sectorial front, Real Estate (up 2.81%), Metals (up 1.61%) and Oil & Gas (up 0.74%) were the top
gainers.
Information Technology (down 1.22%), Power (down 0.46%) and Healthcare (down 0.10%) were the top losers.

Sterlite Industries (India) Ltd (up 5.37%), Hindalco Industries Ltd (up 3.38%), Tata Steel Ltd (up 2.13%), State Bank of
India (up 1.38%) and Tata Motors Ltd (up 1.33%) were the top gainers on the Sensex.
