2. Spin Magazine
• This issue of spin uses the main
image as the background of the
page, with the band placed
centrally on the page.
• The image is a black and white
effect making the masthead ‘Spin’
the only piece of colour on the
page.
• On the left hand side there is a lift
of the main stories that are able to
be found in the magazine, with
each heading and page number in
a bold, white font.
• The text on the page is all in white,
this is to fit in with the image.
• In the right hand corner of the
page there is a quote to make it
more personal.
3. Billboard Magazine
• This issue of Billboard features a list of that
weeks charts on the left hand side in a grey
background and black text with the numbers
found in a white background to show a
difference between them.
• The headings in these columns are written in
a darken background with yellow text to
stand out.
• On the right hand side there is plain, white
background with a theme of the colour blue
being found throughout it.
• In the middle of the page, to the right hand
side, there is a main image with text based
around it.
• The blue is used to seperate different topics
and to highlight the titles, the rest of the text
is written in black.
• There is a strip of three images found near
the top of the page that add colour and life to
the page and also inform the reader of which
artists can be found in the magazine.
4. Q Magazine
• This Q contents page shows a main
picture of Matt Bellamy on the right
hand side, this shows he is a main story
featuring in this magazine.
• The colour red is used to associate it
with Q magazine as it is always used
and is very easily recognisable by Q
readers.
• On the right hand side there is a list of
important and interesting stories
included in this issue, inbetween them
there is a red line to show the title and
show its connection with the Q
magazine, as the colour red is always
used on the masthead.
• At the bottom of the page there are two
small pictures shown as pages of the
magazine and which pages they can be
found on.
• At the top of the contents page there is a
banner with a red background with the
masthead ‘Q’.
