   The 1st pyramid built in Egypt!
   Built for Djoser in 2600 BCE by Imhotep
   Called a ‘step pyramid’ and guaranteed
    Djoser a place as ruler in the afterlife

   Myth had her with snakes for hair and if you
    looked into her eyes you would turn to stone
   People carved her into their buildings or
    furniture to ward off evil spirits

   The town of Pompeii was not ready for the
    lava that flowed in their direction
   The whole town was entombed by the lava
