It outlines two key competencies that applicants must provide examples demonstrating: 1) For CEng, applying new/advancing technology or solving technical problems through analysis. For IEng, applying technology in work. 2) For CEng, analyzing and solving problems using theoretical and practical methods, such as research for an engineering solution. For IEng, applying methods to design, develop, or operate an engineering system. Applicants must provide one or two clearly written examples within maximum word counts for each competency.
