3. FLOWERING PLANTS
● Sexual reproducion. Flowers are their
reproductive organs. Reproduction thought
seed.
● -Angiosperms: Pollinated flowers reproduce
fruits witcht seeds inside.
● -Gymnosperm: Have small flowers. They don't
produce any fruit and theyr seed develop in
cones. Many gymnosperms, such as pine trees,
have long thing leaves called needles.
4. NON-FLOWERING PLANTS
Non-flowering plants not produce seed. They
reproduce axesualy using spores.
-FERNS:
● They have roots and strong stem which grow
under the ground.
● They produce spores inside sori on the
underside of the frond.
● They have large leaves called frond.
5. -MOSSES:
● They have very simple stem and leaves. Their
roots are called rhizoids.
● They produce spore inside capsule.
6. PARTS OF THE FLOWER
● Leaves: They contain clorophyll. Most leaves
have two parts: the petiole and the blade. Veins
in the blade support the leaf and carry water
and minerals. On the underside of the blade,
there are tiny holes called stomata.
● Roots: They hold the plant in the grow. They
absorb water and minerals from the ground the
roots hairs.
● Stem: Id hold up the other parts of the plants. It
also transport water and minerals to leaves for
photosintesis.
