7. Antyllos describes that game noting that the wheel was
wooden.
The height of the wheel reached to the waist those who
participated and led him with a metal rod that brought
wooden handle called “elatir." The game is played
primarily, by boys.
Some times the children were hanging rings in the wheel
, like small bells, and that made noise, so the game was
called “krikilasia”.
Performances of Krikilasias referred in numerous of
ancient vases from which it‟s concluded that the game
was so endearing to the children and young people.
