  • Let’s look first on sourcing some labor.I have real world experiences where team leads say that they need an automation engineer to do automation for project X.
  • This is what they would have got probably.They forgot to mention: * which technology they need to know * what’s exact skillset * etc
  • Cheapest isn’t good usually.
  • Be reasonable when working on signing the contract
  • Be ready to travel.Meet vendor face to face at least once a year.
  • People act differently in different cultures.Make sure you make yourself familiar with your partner companies culture and act like they excpect.
  • How tightli you must communicate?
  • When meeting vendors with whom you would spend time with?Regular employees or managers?Spend all your time and effort with regular employees, they are the ones who create golden eggs.
