INTRODUCTION
Diabetic neuropathy is consider one of the microvascular
complications of long term hyperglycemia.
It has been reported that people with chronic DM are more prone
to the development of neuropathy.
STZ induced diabetes is a well established animal model, which
reports the involvement of oxidative stress in neuropathy

CONCLUSION
Conclusion
In the present study, the concomitant administration of ALA and FA
in diabetic induced neuropathic rats showed better effects compared to single
ALA or FA treatments. These protective effects might be due to the potent
antioxidant activities of the combined antioxidants,with each one of them
affecting an independent pathway.

  • 19. Conclusion In the present study, the concomitant administration of ALA and FA in diabetic induced neuropathic rats showed better effects compared to single ALA or FA treatments. These protective effects might be due to the potent antioxidant activities of the combined antioxidants,with each one of them affecting an independent pathway.
