IL MONDO STA CAMBIANDO
CHE FARE?
Map of the observed surface temperature change from 1901 to 2012 derived
from temperature trends determined by linear regression from one dataset.
Trends have been calculated where data availability permits a robust estimate
(i.e., only for grid boxes with greater than 70% complete records and more than
20% data availability in the first and last 10% of the time period). Other areas
are white. Grid boxes where the trend is significant at the 10% level are
indicated by a + sign.

Risk of climate-related impacts results from the interaction of climate-related hazards (including
hazardous events and trends) with the vulnerability and exposure of human and natural systems.
Changes in both the climate system and socioeconomic processes including adaptation and
mitigation are drivers of hazards, exposure, and vulnerability.

The basic concept adopted to develop the global land cover share
database is effective: integrate the best land cover data available (at sub-
national, national, and regional and global level) into one single
harmonized database using international standards. This task requires an
effort of harmonization among different layers and legends to create a
consistent product.
TREE COVERED areas 27,7% represent around one quarter of the total
global land surface. The other most represented cover classes are
CROPLAND 12,6% and BARE SOIL 15,2%. Considering differences
in accuracy and dates, of the values show comparable ranges.

ARTIFICIAL SURFACES 0,6%: The class is composed of any type of
areas with a predominant artificial surface. Any urban or related feature
is included in this class, for example urban parks (parks, parkland, sport
facilities). The class also includes industrial areas, waste dump deposit
and extraction sites. [GLC – SHARE beta 2014 ]

NAP on Sustainability Cities
Sustainability requires a healthy and well educated population as well as
security and a collective sense of optimism
Sustainability requires, of course, ecological aspects
Much of a nation’s wealth is derived from its natural capital and its ability to
efficiently conserve, sustain, and use ecosystem services.
The focus on cities and how to make them more sustainable raises another― ―
critical issue: How can we develop a strategy that allows for a more
coordinated flow of information?

Competition won in 2007 by Entasis for the New Carlsberg City District (33 ha) [The production of beer was stopped in
2008]
The Mineral Water Factory = 9000 sqm venue for modern dance under the name Dansehallerne.
The former bottling plant = a venue for various commercial and cultural events such as conferences, book and art fairs,
concerts parties (capacity: 6000 people).
The Lime Tower Lighthouse now serves as an artist's studio and residence.
Entasis' masterplan
Short, narrow streets and alleyways, unpredictability, many large and small squares.
Nine slender highrises in heights between 50-120 metres will mark 9 of the area's most important urban spaces.
A total of 800,000 sqm will be built (45 % housing, 45 % shops and offices, 10 % sports and cultural facilities). Mixed
use, buildings with shops, cafés and other public functions at street-level and housing and offices at upper floors, where
there is more light.
24/7 = always open
Activity centred around the squares, parks and other public spaces. The concept of shared space plays a central role in
the plan. Carlsberg's network of underground corridors and cellars play a central role in the plan.
Some will be opened up to create diverse and complex open spaces, others are kept as underground features.
There are a large number of large trees, that will be preserved; some places housefronts or streets are shaped to give
room for existing trees. The two historical gardens will be public parks and supplemented with three new gardens.
The area is planned to be Carbon neutral and employ a number of cleantech technologies.

UE-EEA Cities of the future
HOW WILL EUROPEAN CITIES ADAPT TO NEW CLIMATE

Cities and towns are highly vulnerable to the impacts of climate
change and will need to find innovative ways to adapt.

This document is firmly based on the view that the current,
closely linked appraisal tools; EIA (sometimes referred to as
environmental assessment) and SEA are a secure foundation
upon which new approaches can be built. This “article of faith”
rests on the fact that, in global terms, EIA/SEA are the only tools
whose use is required by law, in many countries, and whose
results are publicly acknowledged and available.

No other tool has this status, nor is any likely to achieve it in the
near future (EIA is more entrenched in law than SEA, but the
latter is becoming a legal requirement in more and more
countries). The national and international importance of
EIA/SEA cannot be over-estimated. Thus, this document is based
on the premise that permanent advances in the design and
implementation of development will be based on the future
development and adaptation of EIA/SEA. Only the passage of
time will show whether this view is correct.

RIDUZIONISMO URBANISTICO
LO IATO TRA PIANO E OPERE PUBBLICHE
Riduzionismo

risorse, cioè se ne esclude l'attuazione programmata;
e dei lavori pubblici;
è materia residuale (riforma titolo V: Legge Costituzionale 3/2001).
RIDUZIONISMO URBANISTICO
LO IATO TRA PIANO E OPERE PUBBLICHE
56. Luca Marescotti 56 / 59
varianti;
l'essenzialità del piano (affidato ad un consulente: esternalizzazione del piano);
