John Guandolo is a terrorism and national security consultant who focuses on emerging jihadi threats. He participated in the recent Defeat Jihad Summit hosted by the Center for Security Policy in Washington D.C. The summit examined the elevated threat the United States faces from the Islamic Jihad Movement and ways to develop long-term strategies for countering it. The timing is critical as the Movement is increasingly international in scope and has a doctrine of Sharia that sanctions slaughter and restricts liberties.
