2. What are conventions of a
poster?
General colour code throughout the poster is
essential for the poster.
The colour of our poster is going to be quite dark
due to the nature of our documentary which is
showing the nighttime economy and therefore a
dark colour code throughout is essential.
Strong background colour associated with the
colour code.
We have decided that the background will be a blur
of Gallowtree gate which is near the Clock Tower.
3. There would usually be 1 main image.
Our main image will be on the police officer with the top part
of the Clock Tower.
A Convention of a film poster would be the main
characters name would be on the film poster.
As we are producing a documentary, we will be
having credits at the bottom.
Production company, Channel & One Leicester
etc usually in a small bulk of text at the bottom of
the page.
We have decided to reject this convention and have
logos of the production company and Channel Logo
at the top and One Leicester at the bottom.
