defeats the objectives of schools

The inadequate facilities break the spirit of educators making them
selfish and restricting their creativity and talent.
Many teachers lack enthusiasm due to their meagre salary.
It discourages even the most motivated.
Increment in the

•Keeps student’s and teacher’s
interest in academics.
•Teachers will work according to the target
provided to them by our team and accordingly
our team will keep records .
By this, the teaching quality will enhance
and become more innovative.

this field.
Placements should be
done within 50-60 km
If teachers are placed in their native area,
they are comfortable with travelling and their
job.
If the distance travelled is more than 20
kms, transportation allowance will be given.
The facility of MST is provided to those
travelling and the advantage of taking a
person along with them is given.

1. Conducting unannounced and random visits to schools.
2. Tests designed by educationalists based on the student’s level.
4. Reports to be evaluated by the ministry, progress should be checked and solutions for
problems (if any found) should be implemented.
3. Checks facilities like availability of buildings, equipments, water, sanitation facilities
etc
5. Awareness can be spread through use of local media, panchayats, nukkad nataks etc.

ANVESHA: A team, proposed by the Phoenix, consisting of 15 members working on district
level, recruited by department of education
• 46 Districts 8 States 1993/94 (Govt.
schools only)
• Based on tests developed by NCERT
– Teachers found it hard to handle
mathematics questions
• Most of them could not do a LCM
question correctly
• 64% could not give a proper title to a
paragraph
• Huge gap between best and worst
districts

Solutions
•The team will spread awareness in
rural areas by addressing rural people
through panchayat.
•Adequate facilities will be provided
by the team itself. A teacher can also
detain students if their marks are below
the given criteria.
• Remedial classes will be conducted
for weak as well as failure students.
