God wants us to get to know Him in His glory is because He doesn’t want the praise doesn’t to become a routine. The praise can become such a routine that your relationship becomes stale. Then you start turning to a man or female when you should be turning to God. The relationship needs to stay fresh. He doesn’t want a routine relationship.
1. 08.04.11 Glory Mercies “ To truly understand the glory it will cost you something and what it will cost you is time...our time in His presence. “ A lot of people go to different church services where the worship is rushed. And when it’s rushed, it’s not meaningful.” “ If you are in the middle of worshipping and you have somebody trying to get gum from you or a little child is tapping on your toe, or someone interrupting you there is something wrong with that picture because everybody should be on one accord and trying to get in the presence of God. That just shows that somebody doesn’t understand the presence of God and that you are trying to enter in.” “ Many people are eager to understand what we have already been experiencing.” “ When the glory shows up or when God shows up with the glory, there has to be some bodies there to receive it." Exodus 33:9 “ We truly don’t understand what the glory is and even when it comes to His mercies.” “ The reason that the glory cannot be reproduced is because the glory does not show up in the song it shows up in My presence." It shows up because there is a relationship built with Him so He’s going to come based on a relationship.” 1 Corinthians 10:31
2. “ If whatever you are doing doesn’t bring glory to Him, then you shouldn’t be doing it. It ought to bring glory to Him.” “ What Paul was saying is because we are free and have so much liberty, don’t forget to do everything for the glory of God.” “ Unbelievers can’t give God any glory. They cannot bring any glory to God. The only thing they can do is watch you. Just because you are doing it and doing it right, they may decide to just get it together because they see you doing it.” “ The reason why God is talking about the glory is because the glory helps you with having a relationship with God.” What does the word glory mean? How do we get into the glory of God? “ We have to get into the glory of God because our flesh has to be shattered. We cannot get in to the glory of God with flesh.” “ Our flesh often has to be shattered.” “ A lot of us focus on being rebuked rather than focusing on the timing of rebuke because the timing of when God rebukes you maybe when He wants you to glorify Him. Rather than focusing on being rebuked, focus on the timing in which you are being rebuked because He may just be requiring something from you.”
3. “ The more we get in his glory, the more we can possess His spirit...the more we can manifest His glory...the more we are able to commune with Him to understand His purpose, to sense His presence, His love, and His grace, and it’s at those moments that we should respond from when He shows up.” “ There’s something wrong when God shows up in love and there’s no response from His children.” Psalms 1:3 “ What God wants us to understand is that we now have to see ourselves as another figure, as God-trees producing the fruit of God-ness, bringing forth fruit in a season.” “ When He says "you are something", see yourself like it.” “ When we are bringing forth fruit, it is the evidence that we are partakers in His divine nature. So we are partakers of His glory.” “ Fruit means that we are bearing the Spirit of God. So if someone says, "I can’t see your fruit", then I can’t see the Spirit of God. That means when I see your fruit, I see the Spirit of God.” “ Jesus represents God’s character. The Holy Spirit is His Spirit.” “ This is what other pastors do - The purpose of the tree is to produce fruit, not other trees. Pastors have become trees and they are producing themselves, which are other smaller trees that are not bearing any fruit. See the glory of God can’t come in there because there’s no fruit. So if His spirit isn’t there, then He can’t get any glory because the pastor has become the big tree.”
4. “ He can’t show His glory in a multitude of people when there’s no fruit. He can’t show forth His presence in a multitude of people.” “ In worshipping Him we should focus on the person of God. This is where you describe Him. When you focus on the person of God, in praise you thank Him for what He’s done.” “ Ask Me what My face looks like, ask Me what My cheeks look like and come into My glory.” “ Let’s look at it from a natural relationship point of view. You ask a husband to describe why he loves his wife, and the wife why she loves her husband. The husband says, "She’s a wonderful cook, takes good care of the kids, keeps the house clean", and the wife may say, "He’s a good provider, works hard everyday, he takes care of the house without me having to say much to him about it." But what they both just did was describe what each other does. See, right there was praise. All of those things describe what they do for each other. But remember what I fell in love with. He fell in love with her legs, he fell in love with her eyes. She fell in love with this, or that, now you are focusing on the person because you are detailed, and this is what God is saying in worship. "Get detailed with Me. Stop coming to Me thanking Me for you shoes and your car, get detailed and let Me know that you know Me. You don’t know Me, that’s why you can’t worship Me. See that’s worshiping in Spirit and in Truth, because you know Me truthfully. You don’t know Me, you only what I can do for you.” “ When you start talking to God you command His glory.” “ A lot of people go to church and get caught up in what God did, but you don’t have a relationship with Him.” “ God wants us to get to know Him in His glory is because He doesn’t want the praise doesn’t to become a routine. The praise can become such a routine that your relationship becomes stale. Then you start turning to a man or female when you should be turning to God. The relationship needs to stay fresh. He doesn’t want a routine relationship.”
5. “ You will find that if you can have a good relationship with Jesus, you can have a good relationship with the man of God or woman of God that God is trying to put in your life.” “ Angels worship God and they have never been redeemed, filled with the Holy Spirit, and they have never been saved, but they worship Him. They worship what they see! We’ve been redeem, filled with the Holy Spirit, and God has done all these things for you, yet it’s so hard to worship God.” “ When you get into the glory of God, it will allow you to see earth from Heaven’s point of view. You can see furniture from Heaven’s point of view..you can see shoes from Heaven’s point of view...and you can see a man or a woman from Heaven’s point of view.” “ When you get into the glory realm you will know the concerns of God’s heart and God will even begin telling you what to pray for.” “ Worship can’t be timed. If worship superseded the word, then the word just won’t go forth because worship is what we were made to do.” “ Glory brings a knowing where you move from a belief to a knowing then your spirit starts yearning for other knower’s.” “ The glory of God brings true perspective so we enter into with praise. Enter into His courts with praise, but how are you going to say that and then sit down?” “ The glory will bring about dancing. Our dancing brings about an anointing of freedom.” “ The Holy Spirit can teach us how to dance in symbolic-ness to His will.” “ The glory of God can teach us how to lift our hands.”
6. “ Remember, when Moses lifted up his hands he had favor. When he sagged he was losing the battle. When you are falling and masturbation comes over you, raise your hands...maybe something else will fall.” We were in His glory, now let’s talk about His mercies “ God’s grace is sufficient which means He has enough grace. People who are on the mercies of God have rejected God’s grace.” “ God has no pleasure in those that die and don’t repent. If everybody died and didn’t repent, He gets no pleasure because His mercies would be void. He wants to use His mercies because He knew that we would need them.” “ A lot of us have even forsaken our own mercies and God wants us to change our mind about how we look at the mercies of God.” “ So God says, "Fool, do you remember when I moved the tabernacle?" He said, "When I moved tabernacle, yes I was tired of you. Yes, I was sick of you, but some of you all don’t understand who I AM. When I moved the tabernacle, you still have a choice to follow it, even though I moved it. You still have a choice to follow where I go.” When God removes Himself from us, this is when you need mercy. This is when you are in the mercies of God. "In the grace I was there for you, in the mercy applied Myself to you. I moved in hopes that you had sense enough to come follow Me, but many of you have forsaken your own mercies and you have given up on following Me.” “ When God sees you need mercy, He stirs up a need for prayer.”
7. “ God wants to show you so much so that He loves you just like He loved the Israelites. It’s just like marriage...He will find somebody like Him to place Himself in them, to reconcile Himself back to Himself. He did it with Moses” “ When God wants to reconcile you in a marriage, he finds a type of Christ, and Moses is a type of Christ. When you become a type of Christ, God can use you because He is you and you are Him.” “ Moses was also a great intercessor. God could listen to Moses. When you are in your mercy period, God needs somebody He can listen to on your behalf because He can’t listen to you. All you can do is pray. When you need mercy all you are going to do is complain or you’re bitter when you should be praying but most of us don’t.” “ Moses being a type of Christ, God could listen to Him. Moses got angry with the people instead of staying one mind with God” “ Moses didn’t make it to the promised land. Why? Because God told Moses to lift up His rod and speak to the rock and they were complaining and because Moses was so tired and got frustrated. He missed listening to God. They caused Moses to miss it when he was there to help them make it. Moses hit the rock instead of speaking to the rock to relieve his frustration. God did not humiliate Moses in front of Israel. He still could not have allowed the water to come through, but He did. But if it angered God so bad, what’s the issue? The smiting of the rock represented the smiting of Christ...that’s’ why God got upset with Him. Once Jesus has already been whipped and smitten, you don’t hit Him anymore. You don’t crucify Him again.”
