As a part of their CSR activities in public interest, SABMiller launched the Respect
The Road.
Mission: Be aware and act responsibly, find alternatives to drinking and
driving
We believe that drinking AND driving is completely preventable. You can keep yourself,
your friends, your family and our roads safe by planning ahead to:
Be a designated driver or designate your driver before the event begins.
Make sure your friends designate a driver, or help arrange ride-sharing with other
drivers.
Give your designated driver your car keys and your appreciation for making sure
you get home safely.
Offer to be the designated driver the next time you go out.
Use alternative transportation, like a taxi cab.
Take your responsibility into your own hands and take our pledge.
Together we can keep our roads and our communities safe - Respect the Road

Golden Rule of Safe Driving
“Set a good driving example even if others don’t.”
Putting it into practice...
1) Use your signals—even when others don’t.
2) Be considerate when making lane changes and passing people.
3) Cooperate when someone wants to pass you.
4) Maintain the speed limit. If others cut in front of you, drop back to
maintain a proper following distance.
5) Don’t fight tailgaters. Just get out of their way.
6) Respect the elderly driver or those who may drive slowly because of a
disability.
7) Don’t use a cell phone while driving. It is illegal in some states.
