Aim
To describe how and in what way
OER can be implemented and used
for learning. The effects and the
implementation process will be
studied.
Methods
A mixed method - questionnaires,
diaries and interviews (narratives)
will be used. The focus will be on
students' participation, knowledge,
empowerment, responsibility and
attitudes of using OER.
Background
The nursing program has
used e-learning for a long
time accompanied with a
traditional view on the
learning, student's and
the teacher's role. It is
urgent to change that
towards an open
education culture needed
for fostering nurses to
e-health consumers.

IMPOERS Implementation of OER in the Nursing program, Dalarna University, Sweden Monika Jansson, RN, MSc. lecturer Maria Neljesjö, RN, MSc. lecturer Ebba Ossiannilsson, PhD, senior lecturer Marie Elf, RN, PhD, senior lecturer Aim To describe how and in what way OER can be implemented and used for learning. The effects and the implementation process will be studied. Methods A mixed method - questionnaires, diaries and interviews (narratives) will be used. The focus will be on students' participation, knowledge, empowerment, responsibility and attitudes of using OER. Background The nursing program has used e-learning for a long time accompanied with a traditional view on the learning, student's and the teacher's role.
