Tax Free Savings Accounts
WHAT: Congressional Staff Luncheon Briefing on the ABLE Act. A panel of experts
will explain the legislation which calls for tax-free savings accounts for the disabled.

Congressman Ander Crenshaw (R-FL), author the Achieving a Better Life Experience Act
(ABLE Act – HR 3423, S 1872) with Senator Robert Casey, Jr. (D-PA), will introduce a
panel of experts to outline the impact of the bill at a Congressional staff briefing on
Thursday, February 16 from noon – 1:30 p.m. in Room B-339 of the Rayburn House
Office Building.
Crenshaw and Congressman Chris Van Hollen (D-MD), an original co-sponsor of the
legislation, will introduce the panel. The legislation, introduced in November 2011 has 88
co-sponsors in the House, 9 in the Senate, and has been endorsed by 49 national, state,
and local organizations.
